La Bohème – Puccini – Freni, Pavarotti, Panerai, Harwood, Ghiaurov, Maffeo, Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic, 1972. Listened last night to most of the opera. I’ve had this CD for years “Che gelida manina” and “Mi chiamano Mimi” are absolutely splendid.
